Pastor Jay Stewart will be riding across the country by bicycle with the intention of raising funds and awareness of the mission of Love Life. The goal is to raise a million dollars to equip and train churches to effectively be involved in sidewalk outreach at abortion centers, to mentor the women who choose life, to provide healing and recovery from abortion, and to foster/adopt children who are in homes unable to care for them. The second main goal is to raise up a thousand new “house of refuge” churches, with pastors willing and eager to be a part of the solution to the abortion and orphan care crisis.
The Framework
Pastor Jay is the only one riding the entire 3,400 miles across the country. At the beginning and end of the cross-country trek, members of Love Life administration will be joining him; however, people all over the country are forming teams who will as a team ride 3400 miles from May 4 to late June. Each team will raise donations to help meet the million-dollar goal. Miles will be compiled by each team member using the Strava App. Along the way, Pastor Jay will be meeting with pastors to help them understand the mission and purpose of Love Life in addressing the abortion crisis.
Why?
Two separate people approached Love Life founder Justin Reeder with the vision for Life Ride, validating his perception that God was directing the ministry to do this event. Riding a bicycle across the country is a fitting symbol for the battle to end abortion. We are called by God to do hard things. The instrument that He has chosen to battle the evils of this world is the Church.
Thus, Life Ride is literally mobilizing across the nation to do this very hard thing. Despite many obstacles, we hope to persevere reaching our nation with the message of hope and help to encourage women to run to the Church instead of to the abortion centers.

Miles can be accumulated starting May 4. Anyone can register at the Life Ride site and will receive the Strava app instructions.
Specific Help to Abortion-Minded Women
I have often been on a training ride for Life Ride when I get a call from abortion-minded women. I am able to offer immediate help because we have a host of House of Refuge Churches in our area. The goal is that women from all over the country can contact us and we will have a church willing, trained and ready to help them.
